Overview
The Fresno Chaffee Zoo is a zoo in Roeding Park in Fresno, California covering 39 acres and housing over 190 species. Its attractions include Stingray Bay, Dino Dig, Valley Farm, Sea Lion Cove, African Adventure, and Ross Laird's Winged Wonders Bird Show.

Fresno chaffee zoo is home to over 650 animals that represent over 230 species from around the world. When visiting the zoo, our visitors are able to observe our animals up close thereby providing a more personal experience. In addition, while visiting fresno chaffee zoo you are able to experience once in a lifetime opportunities every day of the year, such as feeding a giraffe or touching a shark or feeding a stingray.
At fresno chaffee zoo we take great pride in the breadth of our education programs that reach children and adults of all ages in our community. Programs such as docents, volunteers, day camp and overnight campouts help the zoo achieve our goals of educating the public on the importance of learning how to take care of the precious resources that we have, whether it be plant or animal, across our globe or in our own backyard.
